About Skytrack
Last updated 2026-10-12
Skytrack shows live aircraft from around the world on a photoreal 3D Earth, in your web browser: no account and nothing to install. Zoom from the whole planet down to a single airliner on the runway, and click any aircraft to open its flight card.
What you can do
- Follow real aircraft. Positions come from community ADS-B receivers and refresh every few seconds. Aircraft are drawn as real 3D models (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, ATR and more) in their airline's colours, with landing gear that folds away and spinning engines.
- Open a flight card. Photo of the exact airframe when one exists, airline, aircraft type, registration, route and progress, altitude, speed and climb rate.
- Look at airports. Photo or aerial view, the live weather report (METAR) with a wind rose, and the traffic around the airport.
- Change the view. Free camera, chase, cockpit, wing, tail and tower views; day and night with a real sun-driven terminator; search by callsign, registration, ICAO hex code, airport or city.
- Use it on any device. Works on phones, tablets and computers, can be installed like an app, and has a light flat-map “Lite” mode for older phones and slow connections.
Where the data comes from
This site uses: adsb.lol, Virtual Radar Server standing data (via adsb.lol), NOAA Aviation Weather Center, NASA GIBS, Terrain Tiles on AWS Open Data, Planespotters.net photo API, Wikipedia / Wikimedia Commons, CesiumJS, Aircraft 3D models, Bundled reference data. Every source, its licence and the credit it asks for are listed on the credits & licences page. When the live feed is busy or unreachable, Skytrack shows clearly labelled simulated traffic instead of an empty globe.
Good to know
- Positions are crowd-sourced and can be incomplete or delayed. Do not use Skytrack for navigation or any safety decision.
- Skytrack is free to use. The privacy and terms pages say exactly what the site does with your visit.
- Airline, airport and aircraft names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify aircraft.
